Although many large organizations have automated recruiting systems, such as applicant tracking systems, organizations often find that these tools do not fully meet the needs of the individuals involved in recruiting. Often, Microsoft Office tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel are used by recruiters and hiring managers to supplement recruiting software.
